Ingredients:
- 1 boneless venison roast (2-4 pounds)
- 1-1/2 cups ketchup
- 3 tb brown sugar
- 1 tb ground mustard
- 1 tb lemon juice
- 1 tb soy sauce
- 1 tb liquid smoke, optional
- 2 ts celery power
- 1ts salt
- 2 ts pepper
- 2 ts Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ts onion powder
- 1 ts garlic powder
- 1/8 ts ground nutmeg
- Hamburger buns
Method:
- Cut the roast in half. Place it in the crockpot.
- Combine remaining ingredients, with the exception of the hamburger buns, and pour over the roast.
- Place the lid on the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Shred meat with two forks once it is done and mix everything up. Serve on hot dog buns.
