Method:
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan with a heavy bottom. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 30 minutes or until reduced to a syrupy consistency.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve and let cool to room temperature.
- Transfer to a container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
