These are so, so good!!
- 24 thin slices of ham, honey ham is best. Ham sliced as thin as deli ham is perfect.
- 6 slices of swiss cheese, cut into fourths
- 1/3 c mayonnaise
- 1-1/2 tb Dijon mustard
- 1/2 c butter, melted
- 1tb onion powder
- 1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce
- 1tb poppy seeds (optional)
- 24 Hawaiian roll (if making these from scratch for this recipe, you can double the recipe and shape 12 rolls per batch vs. 16
Method:
- Cut the rolls in half. Slather mayo on one side, place them all mayo-side up in the bottom of two greased 9×9 casserole dishes, or one large 15×9 casserole dish if you have one. Place a slice of deli ham on each, then a square of swiss cheese.
- replace the tops
- In a bowl, mix together the butter, mustard, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds if you are using them. Pour half over each casserole dish, topping each roll.
- Cover with foil and let it sit as you preheat your oven to 350F.
- Bake about 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
- Remove foil and enjoy!
