This is one of my favorite ways to prepare a roast. It always comes out perfect and with it cooking in the crockpot, I am free to do other things.
Ingredients:
- 1- cream of mushroom soup (homemade equivalent)
- 1 – onion soup mix packet (homemade equivalent)
- 1/2 soup can of water
- 3-4lb roast
- Carrots, potatoes, onions (if desired)
Method:
- Place roast in the crockpot. Arrange peeled, sliced vegetables around the roast.
- Combine soups and water, mix well and pour over roast.
- Cook on high 3-4 hours, or on low for 8-9 hours.
